The Design

Drawing inspiration from emblematic aesthetics of the 1970s, this wall shelf has a timeless design that will elevate any home interior. The combination of acrylic glass and chrome gives it a retro-futuristic vibe.

The shelf board is tinted in a transparent smoky brown shade. The colour subtly transitions between lighter and deeper tones as the light shifts throughout the day, adding personality to your space without visually overwhelming it.

Function

Display your favorite decor, plants, figurines or vinyles in your living room, organise your skincare products in your bathroom and your spices in the kitchen. 

This versatile shelf is ideal for compact homes. It can be installed as a bedside table when floor space is limited, or it can also be used as an extension of your desk or coffee table for storing small items.

Available in 4 sizes, it allows you to imagine and create a multitude of shelving configurations.

Materials

We work with high-quality acrylic glass, also known as Plexiglas - a material that is 30 times stronger but lighter than traditional glass. It is resistant to humidity, scratches, colour fading (UV), and it doesn't rust.

Care

Please note that scratches and wear on the acrylic may occur with usage. This can be fixed with good maintenance.
Acrylic glass can be repaired and polished to erase scratches, which make this material very sustainable over time.

WHO ARE WE ?

70space is a young brand of design objects in acrylic glass inspired by the 70s. 

We were founded recently in 2025 and edited our first product : the space shelf.

We create and manufacture our pieces locally in France, to insure the best quality and minimise our carbon footprint.

We love vintage aesthetics, minimalism, mixing textures and materials, subtle contrasts of vibrant colors with neutral tones.

We also draw our inspiration from our daily life in Paris — its architecture, its rhythm, and its unique aura. This city is filled with beauty, old and new.

Plastic is often seen as a pollutant. Considering its production process and its very short-term / one-time use when It comes to disposable and low quality products, or the fact that synthetic fabrics release microplastics into waterways and oceans due to washing, we all agree that this is not good for our planet and not sustainable at all !

But, when it is built to last, like acrylic glass, it becomes a real asset in designing products that are resistants, repairable, and 100% recyclable.

Our products are made with premium acrylic glass, from French and European suppliers, insuring high and sustainable quality.
Is it easy to install ?

It's easier than you think!

Its practical mounting system makes one-person installation quick and easy, unlike other shelves which usually require two people.

We provide the necessary screws and wall plugs, so you only need a few tools to install it.

Please consider production time. Our products are made-to-order to prevent overstock and waste. It takes maximum 5 business days.
